Experimental
Project descriptions featured below
Experimental filmmaking has been a passion of mine ever since I learned the joy of breaking an image.
Below is some of my work which uses guided questions to explore colors, immediacy, and visual poetry.
Elation | Experimental Short Film
Elation is more than a visual and auditory experience; it's a symphonic journey that intertwines the primal beats of a drum solo with a kaleidoscope of visuals.
Elation was featured in the STL’s Filmmakers Showcase.

Of Revolution & Art | History of Mexican Visual Culture
In Mexican history, revolution and art go hand in hand. In this piece, I was interested in capturing the changing states of Mexican visual culture throughout the centuries by compressing generations worth of art into an experimental film.
Rhythm and disjunction, hyperkinetic editing and montage are some of the many devices used to extrapolate meaning and ask questions as each art piece is framed against each other.
